Clickspring Design Winner of Two Silver BDA Awards

North American and World Design Awards for Set Design

NEW YORK, June 19 /PRNewswire/ -- The Clickspring Design team, led by principal Erik Ulfers, was awarded the North American and World Silver BDA awards for Set Design for the NBC/MSNBC News World Headquarters at Rockefeller Center, last night at the BDA's International Conference Awards Party, held at the New York Hilton. BDA is the world's leading association of broadcast and multimedia designers, and the BDA awards are considered the most prestigious for creative endeavors in this field.

Ulfers shared credit for the award with designers Shweta Vora, Peter Provost, Tarrant Smith, Sean Dinniene, and Executive Producer Lori Nadler. The NBC/MSNBC team included Marc Greenstein, Brett Holey, Robert Dembo, Ray Herbert and Tom Popple.

The design of the New York studios leverages the tandem identity and synergy of NBC News and the 24-hour cable news network -- two distinctive broadcast ideologies merged in a dynamically urgent and immersive environment -- an environment where every facet of news-making, news-gathering and reporting is seen live.
