Week-Long Bloomberg TV Series on Africa Starts Monday

Starting Monday, BLOOMBERG TELEVISION(R) viewers across Europe, the U.K.,
Africa and the Middle East will get a week-long in depth look at Africa with
the special "Emerging Africa." During the special week, BLOOMBERG TELEVISION
will broadcast Africa-focused segments on its daily "Emerging Markets"
program, plus live hits from the World Economic Forum in Capetown on
Thursday, June 5th and a special edition of "Emerging Markets" dedicated to
South Africa on Friday, June 6th.
"Emerging Africa" will include reporting from Bloomberg's Johannesburg
bureau and locations around the region. The series will explore Africa's
mining industry, commodities market, politics, the World Cup 2010 development
project and African companies to watch.
The week will feature interviews with the leading experts on the region
including Institute for Democratic Alternative Analyst Steven Friedman,
