Jornic Launches African-American Family DVD Game
Are You Sure? ... The African-American Edition celebrates culture and history with family fun
MILLERSVILLE, Md., April 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Jornic DVD Games announces the launch of its new family-focused DVD game that brings the entire family together to celebrate and acknowledge African-American culture through trivia. Are You Sure? The African-American Edition is a family-friendly DVD trivia game that has over 600 multiple choice questions. Topics include music, history, sports, college life, fraternities, sororities, politics, television and much more with automatic scoring. Unlike many DVD games in the marketplace today, Are You Sure? The African-American Edition does not require any boards or game pieces.
Daryl Penn, founder and President of Jornic DVD Games, is an educator, father and husband who created the Are You Sure? series of DVD Games out of a passion for educational family fun. Mr. Penn was inspired to produce the African-American Edition to launch the Are You Sure? collection after attending a family function and playing a well-known DVD trivia game. After playing the game Mr. Penn realized that the game did not contain any trivia related to African-Americans. After shopping in stores and online for a game that offered trivia related to African-American culture without success, Mr. Penn decided to create a game that would fill that void in family entertainment.
"People bond through activities, so I wanted to create a game that would give family and friends the opportunity to be together in a positive way and have fun. The game is designed for a wide range of ages from 12-year-olds to grandparents," said creator Daryl Penn. To experience sample trivia questions from Are You Sure?
