Department of Commerce Secretary Carlos M. Gutierrez to visit RadioShack StoreOne April 10, 2008

WHO: RadioShack Corporation (NYSE:RSH) to host Department of
Commerce Secretary Carlos M. Gutierrez at Fort Worth
headquarters.

WHAT: Department of Commerce Secretary Carlos M. Gutierrez is
scheduled to visit RadioShack's World Headquarters and its
StoreOne Flagship Store in downtown Fort Worth on April 10
starting at 2:30 p.m.

-- Secretary Gutierrez will first speak to senior executives
attending RadioShack's worldwide vendor summit.
-- Next, Secretary Gutierrez will visit the company's flagship
store to review the DTV transition program and RadioShack's
participation in the TV Converter Box Coupon Program.
Joining him will be:
- RadioShack Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Julian Day
- Chief Financial Officer Jim Gooch
- Executive Vice President, Merchandising Peter Whitsett
- Executive Vice President, Store Operations Bryan Bevin

In addition, other elected officials are expected at StoreOne,
including Fort Worth Mayor Mike Moncrief and state and national
representatives.
