Todaysteenonline.com Announces Exciting New Partnerships With Fearless Records, Rock Star Stories and MySportVideos.com, All Debuting With Teen Tube on Its Revamped Website This April

DELRAY BEACH, Fla., March 18 /PRNewswire/ -- When Today's Teen unveils its revamped website, todaysteenonline.com this April, viewers will be introduced to Teen Tube, a new video community where teen bands, singers, poets, filmmakers and other talented teens will be able to upload their own creative work and comment about other teen videos.

"Teens will be able to upload videos on the site the same way people upload videos to You Tube," explains Today's Teen publisher Gwen Cohan. "The difference is that Teen Tube is strictly for teens. Teens checking it out will be able to view their peers singing, acting, telling jokes, dancing... anything goes -- that is, anything that's appropriate."

Fearless Records, the label for such bands as The Maine, New Found Glory, All Time Low and Say Anything, will also be providing music clips of its favorite artists for todaysteenonline.com . "The addition of Fearless Records makes the site the perfect place for new teen bands to upload their music. Their work will be featured alongside the hottest bands in the music industry," says Cohan.

Rock Star Stories/Swept Away TV Productions, whose interviews already air in 67 markets and 4500 colleges on the OSTN Network, will also be featured on todaysteenonline.com . "Such artists as John Mayer, Maroon 5, Fall out Boy, Panic at the Disco, Cute is What We Aim For and The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus are just some of the more than 1,500 different artists that the show has interviewed," says Nancy Rich, President of Rock Star Stories/Swept Away Media Corporation.

For teens into sports, the site has 'recruited' MySportVideos.com , the first free mobile online community dedicated to youth sports. The site allows young athletes to track and share their sport videos and stats with friends, family, team members, coaches, and even recruiters, while bringing together professional athletes, young whiz kids and experts in the fields of sports training, nutrition and sports psychology.

The updated todaysteenonline.com site will also host user blogs (users can choose different blog themes) where they can get their own domain names, offer high school sports scores, concert information, beach and surf reports, concert tickets, various alerts via cell phones, contests, giveaways and comments on articles and videos.

Any teens or educators interested in uploading videos for Teen Tube prior to the revamped site's launch date can do so at http://www.cyber-samurai.de/upload.php . Just include a description of the video in a .zip file or submit an extra file with the description of the video (the name of the video file should be included there). Bloggers can do the same by sending an email to b_b@cyber-samurai.de containing their name, their email address (to be notified when the blog is ready, and the blog address they want, for example, http://jenny.todaysteenonline.com/ ).

Today's Teen, the voice of a generation, was created in 2005 to give teens a forum to share their ideas, creative writing and artistic talents. The paper, published monthly in South Florida, has been successful in catching and keeping the interest of teens by encouraging them to write about the issues that interest them the most, from politics, religion, community service, and career options, to psychology, sports, movie, book and concert reviews. Also included in the paper and online are sections on poetry, photography, artwork and illustration.
