USA TODAY Celebrates 25th Anniversary in New York
WHAT: In honor of the 25th anniversary of USA TODAY, President and
Publisher Craig Moon, Founder Al Neuharth and Editor Ken
Paulson will be featured guests at a cocktail and dinner
reception, Sept. 17. The event will offer celebratory
remarks, music and an exhibition of 25 compelling USA TODAY
front pages.
The evening is hosted by USA TODAY's management and sales
executives. Guests will comprise of leaders in the
advertising, education, media and travel industries.
On Sept. 15, 1982, USA TODAY was launched as the Nation's
first national newspaper. It was the most expensive and
closely watched newspaper debut in history. 25 years later
USA TODAY is the nation's top-selling newspaper with a daily
readership of 4.4 million readers and an average circulation
