Emmylou Harris to Sign 'Songbird' at Borders(R) Michigan Avenue Store

Who: Twelve-time Grammy Award-winner, Emmylou Harris has been hailed
as a major figure in several of America's most important musical
movements of the past three decades. Her contributions to
country-rock, the bluegrass revival and folk music are widely
lauded, and in recent years she also has carved out a sound that
is uniquely her own. Harris' latest release is a boxed set
spotlighting her favorite tracks and difficult-to-find or
previously unreleased gems entitled, "Songbird."

the Michigan Avenue store.

Beginning September 16 at 8 a.m. wristbands will be given out to
customers who would like to get copies of "Songbird" signed.
These wristbands will be given out on a first come, first serve
basis and will hold each person's place in line. Line wristbands
will be color coded and the line will be organized by colors.
Announcements will be made when we begin to line up each group.
Borders cannot guarantee that all customers with line wristbands
will have the opportunity to meet Harris and obtain an
autograph.
