In the news release, Intelligence Squared U.S. Announces Results of Season Opening Debate, issued earlier today by Intelligence Squared U.S. over PR Newswire, we are advised by a representative of the organization that the poll results in the first paragraph should read "55% for the motion and 45% against at the conclusion of the debate. Five percent were undecided." rather than "46% for the motion and 36% against at the conclusion of the debate. Eighteen percent were undecided." as was originally issued inadvertently. Also, the panelists were Flynt Leverett, Dimitri Simes and Shibley Telhami, rather than "Shelby Telhami," and poll results in the fourth paragraph should read "46% for the motion that spreading democracy in the Middle East is a bad idea, with 36% against and 18% undecided" rather than "55% for the motion that spreading democracy in the Middle East is a bad idea, with 45% against and 5% undecided."
