Princeton Review Reports Annual College Rankings Based on How 120,000 Students Rated Their Schools in 'Best 366 Colleges -- 2008 Edition'
According to a survey by The Princeton Review that asked 120-thousand students at 366 top colleges to rate their schools in dozens of categories and report on their campus experiences, the most interesting profs are at Wellesley College. The best campus food is at Virginia Tech, while the best dorms are at Smith College. The students happiest with their financial aid attend Princeton University. The college at which students gave their career center the highest marks is the University of Texas at Austin.

MTV and The Associated Press Release Landmark Study of Young People and Happiness
M-T-V and The Associated Press have begun releasing the findings of an in-depth, seven-month study into happiness and young people: how happy they are, what makes them happy and what they're doing to ensure future happiness. Overall the study shows that young people today are generally very happy, optimistic about the future and have goals in place to achieve a happier tomorrow. At the same time, the results paint a complex portrait of today's youth, with happiness varying greatly along racial lines, faith and family playing an important role in the pursuit of happiness, and younger sexually active respondents reporting much lower levels of happiness.

Mothers Will Spend Nearly $450.00 for Back to School 2007
Back to school creates new family priorities, plans and resolutions. It's also not cheap, according to a new study released by the Marketing to Moms Coalition. According to the report, "School Age Moms" will spend nearly 450-dollars on average on Back to School 2007. School Age Moms with two children between seven and 12 will spend nearly 600 dollars. The top two spending categories were 33 percent for clothes and 17 percent for sports and exercise gear, including uniforms, shoes, and equipment. Other top categories were 14 percent for school supplies and 14 percent for school activity fees.

Wal-Mart Recycles Retired Associate Vests to Support U.S. Troops
Wal-Mart has announced its plan to turn a portion of nearly one million retired associate vests into greeting cards for troops serving overseas and lap blankets for wounded service members. These projects, which are consistent with its goal of creating zero waste and in continuation of its long-time support for U-S troops, were formally announced during the kick-off of the 2007 V-F-W Convention in Kansas City.
