Matured Rapper Lil Fizz of B2K, Wins Approval of Popular Magazine; Hip Hop Weekly
LOS ANGELES, Aug. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Adding to its growing success after charting in the top 5 downloaded albums its first week out, Lil Fizz's digital EP "Pay Day" continues to gain momentum. This week the former B2K boy band member received a HOT vote in the album review section of popular urban magazine; Hip Hop Weekly, with two and a half stars out of three. The review endorses the album calling Lil Fizz two year absence from the music scene, well spent. Review writers reveal, Lil Fizz's rap skills are impressive and lyrically an evolution from B2K. In addition; "Go Hard", "Car Wash", and "Beds" featuring Ray J are sighted as being among the hottest records on the "Pay Day" installment.
Since the release of his debut solo album, Lil Fizz has recently collaborated with Epic Records and Koch Records, emerging newcomer Sean Kingston, to record the single; "Too Young" which will appear on the full length album of "Pay Day" due out in stores later this year.
In keeping with his matured sound and swagger, Lil Fizz has recently taken on a more philanthropic role by lending his celebrity to the non-profit organization, 1600 Avenue for their recent Hip Hop Leadership Conference. Lil Fizz was on hand with fellow celebrity supporters Nick Cannon, DJ Premier, Spinderella, and Jelly Roll which was held at UCLA. Fizz volunteered to speak with attendees applauding their efforts for attending the conference which seeks to empower at-risk youth through exposure to technology with the hip hop culture.
