Kelleigh Dulany Named Vice President, Public Responsibility for MTVN Entertainment Group's Comedy Central and Spike TV

Comedy Central Executive Assumes Expanded Public Responsibility Role

NEW YORK, Aug. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- MTV Networks' Entertainment Group has promoted Kelleigh Dulany to vice president, public responsibility, Comedy Central and Spike TV, it was announced by John Cucci, chief operating officer for the Group, to whom Dulany will report. The Entertainment Group is comprised of a multi-platform portfolio of brands featuring the Comedy Central, Spike TV and TV Land cable channels and respective Web sites as well as internet sites AtomFilms, AtomUploads, GameTrailers.com and Xfire. Dulany is based in New York and was formerly vice president, promotion marketing at Comedy Central.

In her new role, Dulany will be responsible for spearheading pro-social and diversity initiatives for both networks. Programs will focus on specific issues that resonate with viewers and address topical, socially relevant concerns through PSAs, digital media, grass roots and philanthropic outreach. Spike TV's True Dads initiative is designed to encourage responsible fathering and provide the tools and resources to fathers to improve their parenting skills. At Comedy Central, a major new pro-social program, Address the Mess, geared to reducing waste and reviving the planet, was announced yesterday. Furthering both networks' focus on diversity and inclusion, Dulany also manages "Comedy Central Summer School," targeting young comedy writers of color, and Posse Scholars program working in partnership with the national Posse organization to provide a diverse pool of college students with unique internship opportunities to learn about all facets of the television industry.

At Comedy Central, Dulany was responsible for delivering compelling, creative and strategic added-value sponsorship packages for advertisers as well as raising the network's profile within the entertainment tour industry. Prior to joining the network in 2000, she served as the director of promotions and retail strategic marketing at Discovery Networks and, earlier, held the position of director of marketing and catering sales for North Star Management. She was catering sales manager for the Capital Hotel Group; Doubletree Hotel from 1994 to 1995.

Dulany holds a BS degree from the University of Maryland.
