Farm Aid Announces Additional Artists to Join First-Ever NYC Concert Event
Ray Price, Merle Haggard, Danielle Evin and Others to Join Farm Aid Stage
SOMERVILLE, Mass., Aug. 27 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Setting the stage for a unique concert experience, Farm Aid today announced additional artists to round out the concert lineup at Farm Aid 2007: A HOMEGROWN Festival, Sunday, September 9 at Randall's Island in New York City.
Joining the already stellar lineup of Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds, Gregg Allman, The Allman Brothers Band, Counting Crows, Matisyahu, Guster, The Derek Trucks Band, Warren Haynes, Supersuckers, The Ditty Bops, Montgomery Gentry will be Ray Price, Merle Haggard, Danielle Evin, Jesse Lenat, Jimmy Sturr, Pauline Reese, Billy Joe Shaver, and Paula Nelson.
In addition to featuring a full day of music, the Farm Aid 2007: A HOMEGROWN Festival will showcase -- for the first time at a major concert event -- an abundance of family farm food vendors, serving local, organic, humanely-raised and family farmed food. There will also be hands-on, interactive exhibits with farmers and activists that inspire living a homegrown life.
