Celebrate the 50th Anniversary & Reunion of San Jose State University's Radio and Television Journalism Degree Program

All former students and graduates of the SJSU broadcast journalism program are welcome.

When: RTVJ Reunion Week - October 8th through 12th, 2007

The Journalism School Open House is Friday, October 12th, 9 am - 3 pm, Dwight Bentel Hall

The RTVJ Reunion Dinner is Friday evening, October 12th.

Where: The gala Reunion Dinner will be held at the Rotary Summit Center, 4th and San Fernando Streets, San Jose, Calif.

Evening Schedule:

No-Host Cocktails: 6:00-7:00 P.M.

Dinner: 7:00 P.M.

Program: 8:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M.

Cost: $100 per person

Catering provided by Fairmont Hotel San Jose

Your responses will guide student and faculty event planners as they develop on-campus opportunities for all returning alums.

During RTVJ Reunion Week, October 8 - 12th

"Guest Professor" in one of our advertising, public relations, broadcast, newspaper, magazine and photo-journalism classes, talk about timely issues and concerns, your professional experiences, or offer SJSU students media career advice.

Donations: Online you can also offer a tax deductible donation for the Radio & Television Journalism degree program. Your kind assistance will help our students from diverse cultures and life experiences. Many must work two or three jobs to pay for their college education. Donations also enable new technology upgrades in RTVJ which help SJSU students stay competitive in the demanding and ever-changing media job market.

Come back early and enjoy a full week of special events on campus.

SJSU HOMECOMING is the week before the RTVJ Reunion.


The Spartan football team hosts Idaho at 1 pm on Saturday, October 6th at Spartan Stadium.

RTVJ Reunion Friday, October 12th. SJSU hosts Hawaii at 5pm.
ESPN will nationally televise the game during our RTVJ Reunion Week.
