Final Four Revealed; Users Can Vote Online for the 2007 BET Awards Ultimate Fan

DESCRIPTION: The countdown to cable television's #1 awards show --
the BET Awards -- has officially begun and BET is on a
mission to crown the BET AWARDS '07 Ultimate Fan with
the help of State Farm.

Do you think you know what it takes to be crowned the
'07 BET AWARDS 'ride or die' Ultimate Fan? If so, we
need your help! The grand prize winner -- as
determined by the BET.com voting community -- will
receive a VIP-style trip for two to the BET Awards '07
in Los Angeles, along with the opportunity to walk
down the star-studded red carpet, co-present the
Viewers' Choice Award, attend the infamous BET Awards
after-party, and spend a $2,500 cash prize!

SELECTION PROCESS: The BET Ultimate Fan Sweepstakes kicked off in April
via an online campaign on BET.com. From the entries
received during the first phase of the contest, BET
randomly selected 10 semi-finalists who submitted a 1-
minute original video demonstrating why they consider
themselves BET's "Ultimate Fan."

The top four videos, based on creativity, originality
and persuasiveness as determined by BET's panel of
judges have been selected and will be posted to
BET.com from Tuesday, May 29 through Friday, June 8.
The final decision will be made by the BET.com
community, who will vote to select who should be this
year's Ultimate Fan. The finalist with the most votes
will be jet-setting to Los Angeles for BET's biggest
night of the year!

FINALISTS: - Michael (Laplace, LA) - This Katrina evacuee used
his impressive tech skills to create an energetic
and unique video clip that demonstrates his
trendsetting style. Michael believes in living
everyday to the fullest.
- Deidre (Tulsa, OK) - This single mother, who is also
helping to raise her two nieces, has never won
anything. Deidre is always doing things for other
people and never does or buys anything for herself,
so this is her big chance to indulge!
- Tammy (Crest Hill, IL) - Inspired by BET because it
gives people the opportunity to be seen and heard,
this Illinois native is driven and tries to be
successful at everything she does. Tammy is
currently taking care of her mother who is very ill,
and tries to get the most out of every day.
- Nakia (Marion, SC) - Encouraged by her mom to send
in her tape, Nakia showed a lot of personality in
her video clip. She was inspired to do better in
school by her best friend of 10 years, and is now a
student majoring in Business Management who hopes to
one day open her own spa.
