Entertainment Industry Veteran Bob Pollack Joins Legend Films as President
SAN DIEGO, May 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Legend Films today announced the appointment of entertainment industry veteran Bob Pollack as President. Pollack will bring his major Hollywood studio and retail experience to Legend to spearhead growth initiatives including increased retail distribution, studio relations and acquisitions. He will oversee all sales and marketing activities around the Legend Films' growing library of classic films.

Prior to joining Legend Films, Pollack was a founder and President of Compass Productions, a leading producer and distributor of specialty music, where he successfully created programs for Target and Wal-Mart ranging from lifestyle music to compilations and Christmas music. After the company was sold to Somerset Entertainment in 2005, Pollack served as a consultant through 2006.
Previously, Pollack was Senior Vice President at Warner Bros Home Video where he was responsible for international retail sales and worked on the team that set up the initial launch of DVD. Pollack also served as Divisional Merchandise Manager of Entertainment for Target Stores where he was responsible for all buying and merchandising activities for music, video and books.
