Actor turned theatre director and two-time Academy Award winner Kevin
Spacey provided the theatrical centrepiece for the 17th International Fair of
Fine Luxury Watchmaking in Geneva last night. An invite-only VIP audience was
treated to a one-off private showing of Leo and Lisa, a unique play written
especially for the occasion by Spacey and starring himself in the lead role
alongside Thandie Newton.

Organised by master watchmaker IWC Schaffhausen and already being billed
as the most exclusive party of the year, the event brought together 1,200 of
the world's most glamourous guests. Over 50 A-list celebrities were also
expected to attend, including actress Cate Blanchett; sporting legends
Zinedine Zidane and Boris Becker; and Chinese filmstar Chen Chang, of
Crouching Tiger fame. And, to confirm the truly global nature of this event,
Japanese actor Hiroyuki Sanada and Singapore's composer/playwright Dick Lee
also added themselves to the guestlist. All gave exclusive interviews.

The fair itself, held in the exclusive surroundings of Geneva, brings
together 16 outstanding exhibitors from all corners of the globe, and some
13,000 visitors will throng the exhibition halls of this major event. It
marks the launch of the new Da Vinci range of luxury watches, the latest
creation from IWC Schaffhausen. IWC are one of the world's oldest and most
prestigious exponents of haute horlogerie, the art of luxury watchmaking for
an elite international clientele.
