Maroon 5 Dominates iTunes Sales Chart With Three Simultaneous Number One's

Top Selling Single and Video for New Single 'Makes Me Wonder'

Top Selling Album With Pre-sale Orders of Forthcoming 'It Won't Be Soon Before Long'

LOS ANGELES, April 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Grammy-award-winning quintet Maroon 5 are set for a sophomore smash if current iTunes sales and radio airplay of their new single "Makes Me Wonder" is any indication. Maroon 5 currently have the #1 selling single and video on iTunes along with the #1 selling album with pre-sale orders of their much anticipated album "It Won't Be Soon Before Long" (A&M/Octone Records), which is being released on May 22nd. "Makes Me Wonder" is also heating up radio airplay charts. After only 3 weeks on the air, the hit song is currently #12 on the Top 40 chart and #6 on the Hot AC chart, with no signs of slowing down any time soon.

Recorded in Los Angeles with producers Mike Elizondo (Fiona Apple, Eminem), Mark "Spike" Stent (Bjork, Keane, Gwen Stefani, Marylin Manson), Mark Endert (Madonna, Fiona Apple), and Eric Valentine (Queens of the Stone Age, Nickel Creek) the album promises to be a louder take on the pop sounds of the band's first effort. "It's definitely aggressive, upbeat and pounding," says Levine.
