Major League Gaming TV Series to Cover the Competition on USA Network

What: Thousands of video gamers have competed throughout the
seven-city 2006 Boost Mobile MLG Pro Circuit, trying for their
shot to compete against the best gamers in the world. It has
all come to this ... the circuit makes its final stop in Sin
City for the 2006 Major League Gaming National Championship.
The world's best will face off for an unheard-of $234,000 in
prize money and the title of 2006 MLG World Champions. The pros
will be ready, the fans will be ecstatic, and the world will be
watching. This is one event you will not want to miss.

All the action is captured in a seven-episode TV series
broadcast to 90 million homes on USA Network (airs on Saturday
mornings at 10am). And hundreds of thousands more watch it at

As part of the MLG Championship weekend, GameStop Corp.

entertainment software retailer, will kick-off a Gears of War
Exhibition Tournament in Las Vegas Saturday night with a
celebrity match-up for charity, pairing heavyweights Samoa Joe
and Forrest Griffin with professional gamers, to battle it out
