WABC-TV Wins All Major Races In November'06 New York Nielsen Ratings
'Eyewitness News' Is # 1 In The Morning, #1 In The Evening, and # 1 at Night In Households and Adults 25-54.
ABC-TV Is # 1 In New York In Network Dayparts.
NEW YORK, Nov. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- WABC-TV is the top-rated station in New York, delivering more Households and Adults 25-54, Monday-Sunday 6am-2am, than any other television station reported in Nielsen's November'06 New York People Meter Overnights. Channel 7's 4.3 rating/11 share in HHs, and 2.0 rating/ 9 share in A25-54, give it an advantage of 30% and 25%, respectively, over its nearest competitor. Additionally, this is the eleventh survey period since September'05 that the ABC-Owned station outdistances its competition in HHs by a least one full rating point.
"Eyewitness News" continues to sweep every news race, notching wins in HHs and A25-54 in Nov'06 for its 5AM, 6AM, 12PM, 5PM, 6PM and 11PM newscasts. Details of "Eyewitness News'" strong performances are as follows:
