Movie fans will be able to order and watch the unreleased independent film "The Architect", before it opens in theaters on December 1st, on Time Warner Cable's Video on Demand service.

The soon-to-be released film starring Anthony Lapaglia (Without a Trace, The Client) is available for purchase through November 30, 2006 for $24.95. The movie can be viewed in standard definition or in HD format for customers with an HD Digital Receiver and television.

Time Warner Cable customers who purchase "The Architect" on VOD will receive a DVD copy of the film delivered following payment of their next cable bill.

The film, starring Anthony Lapaglia, Viola Davis and Isabella Rossellini is the heartbreaking story of two very different families. Lapaglia's character is an idealistic architect and patriarch of an affluent, suburban Chicago family. Tonya Neeley (Davis) is a pragmatic activist who is trying to keep her family together while living in one of the city's most drug and crime-infested public housing projects. During her campaign to have the projects torn down and decent housing built in its place, Tonya decides that the one signature she needs more than any other on her petition is that of the projects' original architect. The movie is produced by HDNet Films and Magnolia Pictures.

Time Warner Cable and HDNet will host a free screening of the film on Wednesday, November 29 at 7:30 pm, at the Magnolia Theater, 3699 McKinney in Dallas. To receive free tickets to the Dallas premier, visit http://www.timewarnercable.com/ and click on the "win tickets" tab at the bottom of the page.
