Raelians will protest against pedophilia cover-ups outside Mahony's church on Sunday

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- For "legal reasons", Lions Gate films was recently forced to remove the trailer for the documentary "Deliver us from Evil" from its website. Meanwhile the most famous pedophile priest portrayed in this movie who molested and raped hundreds of children, including a nine- month old baby is still living in freedom today. Los Angeles archdiocese Cardinal Mahony was Bishop of Stockton at the time and amongst those who deliberately relocated this particular priest and many others in order to cover-up their crimes.

The Raelian Movement organizes a protest in front of the cathedral where Cardinal Mahony will lead a mass this coming Sunday in order to denounce these deliberate cover-ups and for the full truth to be known. The protest will take place:

Psychologists have observed that individuals deprived of sexual pleasure seek gratification through perverse and deviant means*. They have also found that pleasure systems in the brain must be properly rewarded as they are known to be essential for happiness and non-violent behavior. Abstinence and asceticism only lead to perversity and violence if it isn't supported by a higher consciousness aware of its physiological needs and on how they can dictate one's behavior.

Though this has only recently been studied and reported by psychologists, RAEL (www.rael.org) has been teaching this for the past 33 years and also founded NOPEDO, an organization set up to help end these attacks on children (www.nopedo.org).

If Catholic Priests were allowed to marry and have healthy sex lives with one or more wives as they were allowed until around the 11th century, (eliminated so that church property could not be inherited by undeserving wives) there would be far, far fewer crimes against thousands of children today.

But the Vatican has always been more concerned about wealth, image and politics, more than the truth and the fundamental teachings of the One they claim to follow, Jesus. People who call themselves Christian should loudly denounce this crime. Do Christians believe that Jesus would ignore these crimes against children merely to protect the image of a church?? Surely he would do the opposite!! Why don't all Christians scream loudly about this? Is it because there is a contradiction between religious dogma and the reality?

One of the Raelian Movement's missions is to denounce the wrong interpretations of the past Prophet's teachings. Raelians of the LA community will gather on Sunday to make sure that the real message of Jesus is heard, not the interpretations that will be given inside the Cathedral.
