MEXICO CITY and EMERYVILLE, Calif., May 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Telcel, Mexico's leading wireless provider, and MobiTV, Inc., the global leader in television and digital radio services for cellular, Wi-Fi and broadband enabled devices, today announced the official availability of the MobiTV(R) service in Latin America. Telcel, is the first of the America Movil carriers in the Latin American market set to launch the MobiTV service as part of a regional agreement. MobiTV is the world's leading mobile television provider with more than one million subscribers globally.

The agreement recently established with America Movil signifies the largest mobile entertainment offering in Latin America. Other America Movil carriers soon to offer the MobiTV service include Claro Brazil and CTI Argentina, with more America Movil properties to follow in the future.
