Comcast Helps New Moms Celebrate Their Bundles of Joy As It Celebrates Mother's Day and Its New Bundle of Services
Moms Who Deliver on Mother's Day Eligible for $99 Gift Card; Moms Who Deliver Triplets Can Qualify for Plasma TV
OAKS, Pa., May 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Moms who deliver a child this Mother's Day, May 14, 2006, will be welcomed by more than just a bundle of joy. Comcast today announced that any mom who delivers a child on Mother's Day in Comcast- serviceable areas in its Eastern Division will be eligible to receive a Best Buy* gift card for $99, the monthly price of Comcast's new bundle. Any mom who delivers triplets on Mother's Day is eligible to receive a 42-inch Panasonic plasma TV.
Comcast announced the promotion as a gift to new moms and to celebrate its own "bundle of joy," a bundle offer that allows new customers to sign up for its Digital Cable, Comcast High-Speed Internet and Comcast Digital Voice services for $33 each when they subscribe to all three services. Existing customers can also sign up for the services they don't yet have for $33 each as long as they become three-product customers.
Comcast announced the promotion with a special "Oh Baby, Comcast Delivers!" media mailing filled with baby-related goodies and tips for new moms on how best to enjoy some of the unique parenting features and benefits that are part of Comcast's Digital Cable, Internet and voice services.
"This seemed like a fun and fitting way to celebrate new moms and our new bundle of services," said Michael Doyle, president, Comcast Cable Eastern Division. "After all, if anyone will enjoy having great communications, information and entertainment products in the home, it's new mothers and their families."
Moms who deliver a child this Mother's Day, May 14, 2006, can simply send a certified copy of their child's birth certificate along with an eligibility request form/affidavit to Comcast "Bundle of Joy" Promotion; 200 Cresson Boulevard; Oaks, PA 19456. To qualify, consumers must live in a Comcast serviceable area in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia or the District of Columbia. Comcast is supporting the integrated promotion with newspaper advertisements and other marketing initiatives in participating areas.
