NOGGIN Commences Production On Season Two of Jack's Big Music Show - TRL for the Preschool Set

13 New Episodes of the Hit Music Series to Feature Laurie Berkner, Among Others, Slated To Rollout In Fall 2006

NEW YORK, April 26 /PRNewswire/ -- NOGGIN, the commercial-free, educational network for preschoolers, has announced it will commence production on the second season of its hit series, Jack's Big Music Show and has ordered 13 new episodes of the original preschool music show. The second season of Jack's Big Music Show is slated to kick off in Fall 2006 on NOGGIN. Jack's Big Music Show airs regularly everyday on NOGGIN at 12:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. (ET).

The music video segments featured on Jack's Big Music Show will commence production in New York on Wednesday, May 3, and the puppet segments featured in the series will be shot in-studio in Chicago beginning Summer 2006.

"Everyday on Jack's Big Music Show, preschoolers learn that music is everywhere and can be created with just about anything," said Brown Johnson, Executive Creative Director, Nickelodeon Preschool Television. "The unique approach to music curriculum combined with hip musical performances make Jack's clubhouse a super swell place to visit."

Produced by Spiffy Pictures for NOGGIN, the live-action series is hosted by Jack, a preschooler puppet and his melodious cast of friends who play everyday at Jack's clubhouse. Jack's Big Music Show is a new platform for kids' music and features videos and live, in-studio performances by popular children's musicians who visit the clubhouse every week. The new season will feature several music video performances by acclaimed children's recording artist Laurie Berkner, plus additional performances by musicians including Audra Rox, The Quiet Ones, Music for Aardvarks, Dirty Sock Funtime Band, Nuttin' But Stringz and The Mighty Weaklings.

On Jack's Big Music Show, Jack takes a break everyday from his busy kid schedule to visit his favorite place in the world -- his backyard clubhouse. Here he can do what he loves best -- create and enjoy music, sing, dance and have a musical ball with his friend Mary, his faithful dog Mel and all of his other neighborhood pals. Anything can happen in Jack's clubhouse -- you never know when a baby bongo bird or The King of Swing may unexpectedly drop by the clubhouse, or an entire show might be sung in a silly opera style!
