One in Four Workers Job Hunt on Employers' Dime
One-quarter of U.S. workers who use a computer at work admit to having searched for a new job on their companies' time and resources, according to a new survey by Hudson. On top of that, three in ten send and receive personal e-mails at work at least most days, if not every day. Another twenty-eight percent say they do so occasionally. Most workers who use computers say their employers know they use the Internet for personal business. In fact, three-quarters of them believe their bosses are aware of how much they use the Internet for non-work related activities, and half say their companies monitor their computer use. AEROSMITH Cancel Remaining Dates on "Rockin' The Joint" Tour
Aerosmith have been forced to cancel the remaining dates on the fifth leg of their "Rockin' The Joint" sold-out North American tour. The tour, which has been ongoing since October Two-thousand-five, is being cancelled in order for lead singer Steven Tyler to have surgery. Despite Aerosmith's desire to keep the tour going as long as possible, Tyler's doctors advised him not to continue performing to give his voice time to recover. Tyler will be on total vocal rest and cannot perform for an extended period of time. Aerosmith, which is comprised of Tyler, Joe Perry, Brad Whitford, Tom Hamilton and Joey Kramer, apologize and regret any inconvenience to their fans. The band is now on hiatus but look forward to being back in the saddle with a new album and new tour dates.

George Clooney's Academy Awards Gift Bag Auction to Run on United Way Web Site Through March Twenty-eighth
United Way of America has announced that the online auction has begun for the Academy Awards Gift Bag received by George Clooney at this year's Oscar Awards ceremony. The Oscar- winning actor/producer/director and member of United Way's Board of Trustees, generously donated the Bag to United Way to support hurricane response and recovery efforts. The auction will conclude just before midnight on March Twenty-eighth. The auction can be found at Unitedway-dot-org.
