Company Hires Top Communications Firm and Design Leader to Elevate Brand

LOS ANGELES, March 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Network LIVE, a joint venture between AOL, XM Satellite Radio and AEG, today announced the appointment of advertising and marketing industry veterans Jonathan Anastas to Vice President, Marketing, and Elisa Wiefel to Director of Marketing. Since joining, Anastas and Wiefel have significantly expanded the Company's branding and marketing efforts through including the hiring of leading public relations agency Edelman, and graphic designer David Carson.

As Network LIVE continues to deliver live digital programming to consumers across multiple platforms, Anastas and Wiefel will work with partners, consumers and communications industry leaders to further establish the Company's brand position and global market leadership.

As part of that process, Network LIVE has hired Edelman to assist with public relations efforts, and design leader David Carson, who will assist the company in refining corporate ID and graphic brand representation. Carson, a published author and graphic designer best known for his award-winning work for Surfer, Transworld and Ray Gun magazines, will use his understanding of the 18-34 year old consumer mindset and aesthetics help create a unified brand look and stylistic voice for Network LIVE.

Jonathan Anastas

Anastas brings 15 years of marketing and advertising experience to Network LIVE, where he leads strategy and execution of all marketing activities for the company including development of corporate ID, public relations efforts, consumer and trade-facing messaging, cross-platform promotions as well as consumer insight.

Prior to Network LIVE, Anastas held senior account management positions at the nation's top advertising agencies including Doner, Saatchi and Saatchi, DDB and Mullen, rising to the level of Senior Vice President. During his agency tenure, Jonathan worked with a diverse client base ranging from youth-focused and entertainment brands such as Vivendi Universal Games and Timberland to automotive leaders Toyota and Rolls-Royce/Bentley. Anastas was also a pioneer in the field of Internet advertising, holding the title of Senior Vice President of Client Service at Omnicom's Think New Ideas, where he lead digital strategy for Oracle, Travelocity and CarsDirect.com. Before joining Think New Ideas, Jonathan also co-founded Saatchi's west coast Interactive unit, putting Toyota on the web for the first time in 1995.

Elisa Wiefel

Wiefel brings extensive earned-media communications strategy and execution experience to Network LIVE, where she is responsible for directing all marketing activities. Prior to joining Network LIVE, Wiefel was an Account Supervisor in the Digital Entertainment, Rights and Technology practice at Edelman, where she directed communications strategy for clients including Starbucks Hear Music, MySpace, The Recording Academy, the Motion Picture Association and CinemaNow, winning numerous industry awards. As an early leader in digital entertainment, Wiefel's keen understanding of the shifting marketplace and forward-thinking approach to communications strategy was instrumental in the growth of the Digital Entertainment Rights and Technology global practice at Edelman.
