W Hotels to Unveil First Look at New Flagship Las Vegas Development as Part of 'Village at the Lift' Festivities in Park City

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- The W Las Vegas Hotel, Casino and Residences will bring the desert heat to the mountains this winter with the premiere of the W Las Vegas Residences Lounge at Village at the Lift during the 2006 film festival, taking place from January 19-27. The W Las Vegas Residences Lounge will host exclusive events and activities throughout the week and offer film festival attendees an early taste of the anticipated Las Vegas project, set to open in early 2009, with residences on sale to the public in Spring 2006.

A-list celebrities and select festival guests will have an exclusive opportunity to participate in the first-ever W Las Vegas Poker Invitational. Only 50 spots will be available in the high-profile tournament in which one lucky player will win a fully-furnished condo in the new development. The W Las Vegas Poker Invitational will be a private, invitation-only tournament and cocktail reception featuring various celebrities and both amateur and professional players, including Phil Hellmuth, Antonio Esfandiari, Annie Duke, Phil Gordon and Phil Laak.
