LA Fashion Market Kicks Off a New Year for the California Market Center

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Building upon the momentum of a successful 2005, the New Year promises even more exciting enhancements, starting with the LA Fashion Market at the California Market Center, January 13-17, 2006, from 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. The LA Fashion Market will showcase the hottest trends for Summer 2006, premiere an abundance of new resources and attract the industry's most influential buyers, such as Nordstrom, Macy's West, Kitson, Madison, Scoop, Cache, Dillards, Selfridges & Co., CMJ and Tootsie.

The California Market Center will also be co-hosting a star-studded opening night party on January 13, 2006, from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. for the launch of the Nu on 5 showroom. Expected celebrity guests include The Black Eyed Peas, lead singer of Papa Roach, Jacoby Shaddix, Ziggy Marley and Rohan Marley. Market highlights also consist of the LA Shoe Show located in the Penthouse on the B wing, January 15 - 16, 2006 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and the Kid's on 6 resources located on 6A, open throughout the Market. The Brighte companies by ENK will also be exhibiting during LA Fashion Market from January 13-16, 2006 in the Fashion Theatre.

New contemporary showrooms such as Ben Sherman (A209), Nu on 5 (A537), Jeffrey Schwager (A206 & A208) and Dean Alan (B541) will be opening, along with children's showrooms, Conception (A635) and The Glitter Box (A618). New accessories showrooms, JPK USA (A1035), Ann Marie (A1026) and Femmes Fragiles (A985) will also be opening their doors for the first time.
