North American International Auto Show to Host NBC Sports 'International Auto Show' Special on Sunday Jan. 22 From 1-3 p.m. EST
DETROIT, Dec. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- For the second consecutive year, NBC Sports will present a two-hour special broadcast of the "International Auto Show" on Sunday, Jan. 22, 1-3 p.m. EST. The "International Auto Show" will feature the exciting production and concept vehicles of the 2006 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit.

Hosted by NASCAR on NBC and TNT pre-race host and play-by-play commentator Bill Weber, with analyst Benny Parsons and reporters Allen Bestwick, Dave Burns and Marty Snider, NBC Sports' presentation of the International Auto Show will include features of the hottest cars on the market and special appearances by some of the biggest names in NASCAR and NBC Entertainment.

NAIAS 2005 featured more than 60 vehicle unveilings as well as more than 6,000 journalists from 43 countries, and more than 200 television stations. It is the single largest media event in North America and a must-attend for international journalists and top industry executives. The NAIAS 2006 expects to unveil more than 60 vehicles and have another year of unmatched media presence.

Press Preview Days will be held Sunday, Jan. 8, through Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2006. Industry Preview Days will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 11 and Thursday, Jan. 12, 2006. The Charity Preview will be held Friday evening, Jan. 13, 2006. Public Days are Saturday, Jan. 14, through Sunday, Jan. 22, 2006.
