New Buzztime(R) Single-Player Games for Cable TV Increase Player Usage by Over 100%
Expanding Buzztime Play Along TV(R) Channel Beyond Trivia Game Shows Has Doubled Usage in Four Existing Cable Systems
CARLSBAD, Calif., Dec. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Buzztime Entertainment, Inc., a subsidiary of NTN Communications, Inc. (AMEX:NTN), announced today that the average monthly usage of the Buzztime Channel for cable TV has doubled in four existing cable systems with the recent addition of the first series of Buzztime single-player games. The player usage results are averaged over the first 90 days of availability across the four cable systems offering the expanded Buzztime Channel to their digital cable TV subscribers.
Buzztime's iTV game service for cable TV was enhanced this year by adding the six new single-player game selections to the existing multiplayer Buzztime Trivia Channel that enables real-time game show competitions. The six new games are: Poker, Checkers, Hexagone(TM), Jungle-Bop(TM), Memory and Solitaire.

In an industry first, Buzztime launched the Buzztime Trivia Channel in 2002 to digital cable TV subscribers with six continuous categories of multiplayer game show content which enabled real-time competitions among players across multiple cable systems. The service was enhanced in 2005 to include six single-player games, including Solitaire, Checkers, Jungle Bop and Hexagone, featuring the ability for players to post their high scores for viewing by other players.
