NBC Olympics Selects TriggerNews Private Label for Upcoming Winter Olympics Desktop Alerts

System to be Launched on January 1, 2006

PORTLAND, Ore., Dec. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- News Technologies LLC announced today that NBCOlympics.com, "America's Online Home of the Olympic Games," selected TriggerNews Private Label as its alerting platform of choice for sending real-time Winter Olympics alerts to user's desktops.

The application will be available on the NBCOlympics.com web site beginning January 1, 2006, which will allow users to download it in preparation for the opening of the Winter Games on February 10th.

The application will allow users to select only those events they want to receive desktop alerts in and then allow them to click through back to the NBCOlympics.com web site to read the full story when their associated alert appears. Other user personalization will additionally be provided.
