One-of-a-Kind Educational Exhibit Based on Hit Movie, 'Robots,' Under License by 20th Century Fox
CHICAGO, Dec. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Becker Group (http://www.beckergroup.com/), one of the nation's premier experiential marketing firms, announced today the national tour of "ROBOTS: The Interactive Exhibition," an immersive, educational experience based on the hit 20th Century Fox / Blue Sky Studios hit movie Robots. The 5,000 square foot multimedia exhibit combines educational interactives and unique displays to create an incredible experience for people of all ages. The exhibit opens today at Chicago Children's Museum, marking the beginning of a nationwide tour across America. Becker Group developed, produced and will manage the exhibit's nationwide tour.

"ROBOTS: The Interactive Exhibition" combines the magic of film, inspiration of art, and educational benefit of hands-on interactives and unique displays to provide visitors with an immersive, in-depth look into the exciting world of Robots, the movie, as well as real-life robotics.
The early tour stops will include:
* Chicago Children's Museum
* Arizona Science Center
* Detroit Science Center
* Imaginarium Hands-On Museum
* Maryland Science Center
The exhibit will entertain guests of all ages, generating excitement about the science of robots and future of robotics, while ultimately answering the question, "What really is a robot?"
With more than 15 interactives, the exhibit will include:
* "Robot Explorers" -- Using a computerized touch screen, guests will
build a robotic probe to explore the unique and challenging
environments of Underwater, Deep Space and the surface of Mars
* "Paint-A-Bot" Artificial Intelligence -- This interactive makes use of
a unique touch screen computer program that enables guests to color
and customize their robot
* "CityScape" -- Guests are encouraged to use their "eye" to find the
actual parts from the Robots movie that inspired the moviemakers to
create this world
* "Crosstown Express" -- Guests can climb aboard and take a spin inside
a Robot City taxi cab simulator, and feel the movement and excitement
of this three-dimensional environment
* "Build-A-Wonder-Bot" -- Guests will be challenged to create a robot
that will accomplish an actual task (i.e. a laundry-bot or floor
scrubber-bot)
* "Industrial Robots" -- Guests will be challenged to control and
manipulate a robotic arm and experience first-hand the important work
of robotics in modern day factories
* "Robot Round-up" -- In this fun-filled area, guests will be in control
of a variety of robots that you can actually own in your home from a
Roomba to a Robosapien
* "Dominos Workspace" -- Guests learn the physics of dominos through
cause and effect
* "Future of Robots" -- Guests will come face-to-face with companies,
robotic machines and young students that are shaping the next
generation of robots and robotics
