Seattle Threads The Needle in 'AXE's Best Cities for Hooking Up in America'

The Second Annual "A-X-E's Best Cities for Hooking Up in America" reveals that Birmingham, Alabama is in a dry spell, while top-ranked Seattle is literally raining men and women. A-X-E partnered with Sperling's BestPlaces to commission the study and unveiled some surprising results.

Claiming the number one spot in "A-X-E's Best Cities for Hooking Up in America," Seattle is now known for more than just the birth of coffee kings and computer geeks. The Emerald City tops the list of the 80 largest metro areas in the study, based on criteria that include percentage of singles ages 18-24, male to female ratio and dating venues per capita, such as bars and restaurants, among others.

Dennis Quaid Tops Golf Digest's Hollywood Golf Ranking

In Hollywood nowadays, having a good golf game is almost as important as having the right agent. Golf Digest, in December's 55th Anniversary Special Edition, pays tribute to Tinsletown with a ranking of the top 100 golfers from television and film.

Dennis Quaid, a bona fide golf nut sporting a one-point-one U-S-G-A Handicap Index, finished first among Hollywood's Top 100. A member of Bel-Air Country Club in Beverly Hills, Quaid usually secures a home on a private golf course whenever he's on the road and relies on his charm to gain access.

Rounding out the top ten are Thomas Gibson, formely of A-B-C's "Dharma and Greg"; comedian Tom Dreesen; actor Matt Craven; Chris O'Donnell; Samuel L Jackson; Randy Quaid; Craig T Nelson; Mark Wahlberg; and Hugh Grant.
