Mark Jeffery Joins ICTV(TM) as Senior Director, Product Marketing

LOS GATOS, Calif., Nov. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- ICTV(TM), the creator of HeadendWare(R), the most powerful platform for the delivery and distribution of interactive television programming, announced today that veteran digital video executive Mark Jeffery has been named Senior Director, Product Marketing.

Jeffery, whose career includes product marketing management positions at Terayon Communication Systems and Kasenna, will be responsible for increasing the visibility of the HeadendWare platform in the cable and IPTV sectors, as well as introducing HeadendWare to new video and advertising markets. In addition, he will oversee marketing and communications activities for ICTV and its ICTV International subsidiary.

A 10-year industry veteran, Jeffery joins ICTV after having served as director of product marketing and partner development for Terayon Communications, where he was responsible for overseeing the product definition, development and strategic marketing of Terayon's entire line of digital video products. Previously, Jeffery held corporate and product marketing director positions with Kasenna, for which he led corporate branding initiatives and was responsible for OEM video server sales, product launches, worldwide sales support and technical training efforts.

Prior to Kasenna, Jeffery was senior product manager for MediaBase at Silicon Graphics and held product management positions at Site Technologies and Etak. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
