GSN's 'HIGH STAKES POKER' at Golden Nugget, Las Vegas

WHAT:
GSN, The Network For Games, is taping broadcast television's first
No Limit Texas Hold 'Em cash game in the network's newest casino
series, HIGH STAKES POKER. Shooting at the Golden Nugget in Las
Vegas, this series will feature top professional poker players as
well as some of the elite poker playing business executives with a
$100,000 buy in. HIGH STAKES POKER isn't tournament style play and
the players are putting up their own money, at least $100,000 and
ability to add more, to play in the biggest game in town.

WHO (A preliminary list of some of the players scheduled to appear):
* Doyle Brunson -- Perhaps the most venerated player in the game,
"Texas Dolly" has been playing poker for over 50 years, often in
the world's biggest cash games.
* Daniel Negreanu -- Card Player's 2004 Player of the Year. One of
poker's most formidable players.
* Dr. Jerry Buss -- The charismatic owner of the NBA's Los Angeles
Lakers. He's been playing in high-stakes poker cash games for
years.
* Rene Angelil -- High-profile Las Vegas executive is best known as
the husband and manager of superstar Celine Dion. Angelil has
played poker for 40 years.
* Johnny Chan -- The "Orient Express" is regarded as one of the best
players in the world. Inducted as the first Asian-American into
the Poker Hall of Fame in 2002.
* Barry Greenstein -- One of the best cash game and tournament
players in the world.
* Jennifer Harmon -- The only woman who regularly competes in the
highest-stakes cash games.
* Phil Hellmuth -- Winner of nine World Series of Poker bracelets.
Known as the "Poker Brat" and one of the bad boys of poker.

Post-interviews will take place immediately following each show
taping, however, winners will not be disclosed and media
confidentiality agreements must be signed.

PRESS AREA INFORMATION -- PLEASE READ:
Media outlets that would like to record segments of the actual show
at the taping for later use as clips for news or entertainment shows
will need to bring a separate tape deck which will plug into
mult-boxes in the designated press area. No television cameras,
tape recorders or digital photographers will be allowed on set
during the taping, however, will be allowed in the press area near
the taping. TV cameras will be allowed on the set during taping when
accompanied by a GSN and/or Golden Nugget escort for b-roll
purposes. Print reporters and producers will be allowed in the
press viewing area during taping.
