WorldSpace, Inc. Announces Timing for Second Quarter Earnings and Conference Call

WASHINGTON, Aug. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- WorldSpace, Inc. (NASDAQ:WRSP) announced today that the Company expects to release results for the second quarter of 2005 ended June 30, 2005, after the close of the market on September 6, 2005. The Company plans to host a conference call and webcast to discuss those results on Wednesday, September 7, 2005 at 4:30 p.m., Eastern Time. Noah Samara, chairman and chief executive officer, and Sridhar Ganesan, chief financial officer, will host the conference call.
