Sentry Technology Installs Traveling CCTV System in DC Center
RONKONKOMA, N.Y., Aug. 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Sentry Technology Corporation (BULLETIN BOARD: SKVY) announced today the installation of its SentryVision(R) SmartTrack traveling CCTV systems in a U.S. distribution center of one of the world's largest logistics companies providing products and services to the information technology industry. The SmartTrack system uses patented technology to transmit video images from two pan, tilt and zoom cameras traveling along an aluminum rail mounted on the ceiling. The camera carriage travels at speeds of up to 13 feet per second and provides unobstructed views of people and goods moving throughout the facility. The operator is able to monitor both security threats and operational issues occurring in this 600,000 square foot building.
