Order Placed as a Result of High Level Consumer Response to Infomercials
EL DORADO HILLS, Calif., Aug. 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- NutraCea (BULLETIN BOARD: NTRZ) announced today that it has entered into an agreement with ITV Global, Inc. for an initial order of $2 million dollars of FlexProtex(TM) Capsules and Rice'n Shine(TM) meal replacement beverage, both natural formulations based upon proprietary stabilized rice bran derivatives.
FlexProtex(TM) Capsules were debuted in a test infomercial managed by ITV Direct, Inc. that elicited significant call volumes after being previewed in select markets across the nation, reflecting a high level of consumer interest in obtaining safe, natural options for the pain and stiffness associated with arthritic conditions.
In addition, ITV Direct recently launched a second infomercial focusing on the health benefits of consuming NutraCea's Rice'n Shine(TM), a novel meal replacement beverage, which also contains proprietary, patented stabilized rice bran derivatives.
Both the FlexProtex and the Rice'n Shine products provided by NutraCea are based on the concept of whole food nutrition and are exclusively marketed by ITV Direct Inc.
