New Focus on the Family President, Jim Daly Joins Justice Sunday II Lineup
Nationwide Simulcast to Air August 14th from Nashville
WASHINGTON, Aug. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Focus on the Family President, Jim Daly has agreed to join the list of distinguished speakers for the Family Research Council/Focus on the Family co-sponsored simulcast television program, "Justice Sunday II - God Save the United States and this Honorable Court!" The program is set for Sunday, August 14th at Two Rivers Baptist Church in Nashville, Tennessee and will be broadcast live in churches across the nation in addition to being carried on hundreds of radio stations, via satellite and web-cast on http://www.justicesunday.com/.
Before becoming its Chief Executive Officer and President, Jim Daly held several leadership positions for Focus on the Family, a non-profit organization dedicated to nurturing and defending families worldwide, and has been predominantly involved in the ministry's Public Affairs, Marketing and International efforts.
Daly joined the Focus on the Family staff in March 1989, accepting the position of Assistant to the President in the ministry's Public Affairs division. His primary duties during that time were targeted at fostering relationships with Focus supporters and partners. Following the formation of the International department in 1992, Daly was appointed as the International Field Director for Asia, Africa and Australia. In this capacity, he spearheaded the formation of many of our international associate offices through his mastery of cross-cultural ministry and communication. In January of 1997, he was promoted to the role of Vice President of the International division.
