All-Star Cast Helps Voice Magnificent Desolation: Walking on The Moon 3D

Upcoming IMAX(R) 3D Film To Be Presented and Narrated by Tom Hanks, Feature Hollywood's "A-List" and Transports Audiences to the Moon's Surface

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Reflecting IMAX Corporation's (NASDAQ: IMAX; TSX: IMX) commitment to offer the most entertaining and educational original programming, Magnificent Desolation: Walking on the Moon 3D, a Playtone/IMAX production, presented and narrated by Tom Hanks, will feature an all-star voice cast of top Hollywood talent, including Paul Newman, Matt Damon, Matthew McConaughey, Morgan Freeman, John Travolta, Gary Sinise and Bill Paxton. A who's who of today's actors will lend their voices to the upcoming IMAX(R) 3D space film, which opens exclusively in IMAX(R) theatres starting September 23, 2005.

Through the magic of IMAX 3D, Magnificent Desolation: Walking on the Moon 3D takes audiences to the lunar surface to walk alongside the 12 extraordinary astronauts who have been there - to experience what they saw, heard, felt, thought and did. The film features previously unreleased NASA footage, CGI imaging and live-action renditions of the lunar landscape and will propel audiences nearly a quarter-million miles above the Earth's surface.
