Lifetime Television Posts Eighth Consecutive Month of Primetime Ratings Growth in June

- Network Scores Third Straight Quarter of Growth -

NEW YORK, June 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Fueled by new seasons of its Sunday night dramas and the "New Movie Monday" showcase, Lifetime Television continued its ratings roll with June marking the network's eighth consecutive month of primetime household ratings increases (1.5). Along with this seven percent increase, Lifetime also posted a nine percent rise in P2+ (1.7 million) this June.

Lifetime also revealed impressive ratings growth among its key Women demos: +33% among W 18-34 and +11% among W 18-49 -- the most growth in these demos among the top five networks.

In the Second Quarter, Lifetime scored its third straight quarter of growth, up seven percent in primetime household ratings (1.5) compared to 2Q '04, as well as averaging nine percent more P2+ (1.6 million). An increase of 14% among W18-34 marked the fourth consecutive quarter of growth among Young Women. In addition, Lifetime experienced +11% growth among W 18-49 and 10% among W25-54.

Also in the Second Quarter, "New Movie Monday" advanced 17% in primetime household rating, 33% among W18-34, +17% among W18-49 and +14% among W 25-54.

Lifetime Movie Network, basic cable's second highest rated women's network behind sibling Lifetime Television, posted 2Q primetime household ratings gains of +14% and +33% among W18-34.

For the year, Lifetime Original Movies continue to rank #1 among all basic cable networks in primetime household ratings, W18-34, W18-49 and W25-54 and the network retains the most watched original movie of the year (Odd Girl Out) among Households (4.4 rating) and Total Viewers (5.1 million).
