Sly Athann & Gillian O'Donovan Win Wanadoo Discoveries 2005

LONDON, May 16/PRNewswire/ -- UK duo Sly Athann & Gillian O'Donovan have won this year's
Wanadoo Discoveries, Europe's largest online music talent contest. Their
single "Without You" has beaten the three other European finalists: Matthieu
Mendès, (France), Beatriz Luengo (Spain) and Raffish (Netherlands) - for the
largest share of the public vote, since the polls opened on April 23rd.

Sly Athann, producer/composer, and Gillian O'Donovan,
singer/songwriter and composer, started working together in 2001 and their
album "The Price of Freedom" was released on 13th May this year. "Without
You" is the first track on their album, and offers a mix of pop and soul.

Now in its second year, the Wanadoo Discoveries 2005 was a
resounding success, with hundreds of thousands of web users participating
enthusiastically in the two rounds of voting to firstly choose the four
European finalists and then secondly, the European winner.

Sly Athann & Gillian O'Donovan were presented with their
trophy at the " Fun Live" concert held on Saturday, 14 May at the Nikaïa in
Nice in front of a crowd of over 6 000 revellers. The four finalists
performed their single in the first part of the concert, which featured a
great line-up of international artists that included: Akon, Natasha
Bedingfield, and Eric Prydz.

The four Wanadoo Discoveries European finalists have each won a radio and
web promotional campaign, with the winning duo, Sly Athann & Gillian
O'Donovan, also winning the opportunity to produce their own music video.
