Universal CityWalk Invites Guests to 'Double Up With Laughter,' Offering Free Admission to New Bonkerz Comedy Club With Purchase of Movie Ticket to Any Summer Comedy at the Universal Cinemas, Beginning Memorial Day Weekend, May 27

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif., May 24 /PRNewswire/ -- For those who want to laugh 'til they cry, Universal CityWalk introduces "Have You Heard the One About the Movie Theater and the Comedy Club?" inviting guests to enjoy free admission to its new Bonkerz Comedy Club with the purchase of a movie ticket to any comedy at the Universal Cinemas, beginning Memorial Day Weekend, May 27 and continuing each Friday.

To take advantage of the offer, guests must present their Universal Cinemas ticket stub on the day of purchase to the Bonkerz Comedy Club box office for free admission.

Universal Cinemas features over 18 screens and more than 6,000 seats, showcasing the latest Hollywood blockbusters presented in DTS Digital, THX and Dolby Sound systems.

Highlights of comedies eligible for the "Have You Heard the One About the Movie Theater and the Comedy Club?" include: "Kicking and Screaming," "Monster-in-Law," "The Longest Yard," "Madagascar," "The Honeymooners," "The Perfect Man," "Herbie: Fully Loaded," "Bewitched," "Rebound," "Happy Endings," "Wedding Crashers," "The Bad News Bears," "Must Love Dogs," "The Dukes of Hazzard," "The Pink Panther," as well as other summer comedies that will be shown on the Universal Cinemas screens this Summer.

Bonkerz features two 90-minute comedy shows every Friday and Saturday night at 8:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. The club also offers a complete dinner menu and full bar at its new CityWalk location.

Admission to Bonkerz is $12 dollars, but will be waived as part of the "Have You Heard the One About the About the Movie Theatre and the Comedy Club?" promotional offer.
