NORFOLK, Va., May 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Die-hard Star Wars fans who skip work or school to see the film on opening day will also receive copies of a new behind-the-scenes, collectible movie magazine that focuses exclusively on the blockbuster film. The premiere issue of FLIcK Magazine will be distributed free to moviegoers who purchase tickets to see Star Wars Episode III: Return of the Sith only at Loews, Cinemark and Carmike theaters nationwide beginning tomorrow.

Due to the heightened frenzy for the saga's final installment and early favorable reviews, the 2.5 million copies of the Star Wars premiere issue could be available in theaters for less than 24 hours. The publisher, Decipher Inc., is also making a digital version of the magazine available so fans that don't receive a copy of the publication at the theater can download one free at FLIcKmagazine.com

"We are excited to launch the first issue of FLIcK in conjunction with one of the most anticipated and beloved films of all time and we can't wait for the most passionate Star Wars fans to get copies of the magazine," said Decipher CEO Warren Holland. "We anticipate the copies will be gone from theaters very quickly and we are pleased to offer a free digital download so Star Wars fans worldwide can read it and share with their fellow fans all around the world."

Following Star Wars Episode III, the next film to receive the exclusive FLIcK treatment will be Batman Begins. In June, 2.5 million copies of that issue will be distributed free with the purchase of tickets to Batman Begins exclusively at Cinemark, Loews, and Carmike movie theaters nationwide.

Each issue of the digest-sized collectible magazine features movie- specific content ranging from interviews with the cast and crew, photography from the set, and fan-focused trivia on blockbuster films. While star interviews will always be a highlight of the magazine, two celebrity columnists/comedians are slated to appear in every issue. Paul Gilmartin of TBS' "Dinner & A Movie" and Christian Finnegan, who regularly appears on VH1 and Comedy Central, will each contribute a signature column for fans.

Expanded articles, interactive polls, and an issue-specific sweepstakes will be available online at FLIcKmagazine.com.
