The boyz, who are also the cast of the Award Winning Off-Broadway show, ALTAR BOYZ, will perform live and sign CDs May 17th in Times Square at 5 p.m.

ALTAR BOYZ recently made a public challenge to the famed Backstreet Boys, who have their own new CD coming out, to a Boy Band Battle on Tuesday, May 17th at 5:00 p.m. at Virgin Megastore Times Square, 1540 Broadway (at 46th St.) in New York City. Visit AltarBoyz.com to read the official challenge letter!

ALTAR BOYZ, complete with MTV ready looks, a penchant for dancing and the ability to drop the funk in five-part harmony is made up of five outstanding young men forever bound by the undeniable soul-stirring power of sweet pop music. The boyz are Scott Porter as Matthew; Ryan Duncan as Juan; David Josefsberg as Abraham; Andy Karl as Luke, and Tyler Maynard as Mark.

Armed with catchy melodies, divine moves and product in their hair, ALTAR BOYZ the show is the new musical comedy where the acclaimed apostles of pop bring their soul-soothing tour to NYC, with their heavenly lyrics like "Girl, You Make Me Wanna Wait," "Jesus Called Me On My Cell Phone," "I Believe," and more ... The CD is just as exciting, fun and sure to make girls swoon!

Since its debut, ALTAR BOYZ the show has wowed audiences of all ages, and is now the only show ON and OFF Broadway nominated for all theater awards (except the Tony, for which it's not eligible).
