Anystream Names Steve Becker EVP Sales & Marketing
Cable TV Industry Veteran to Drive Market Adoption for Company's Digital Media Software
STERLING, Va., May 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Anystream, a leading supplier of digital media production and distribution software to the media, communications and education industries, today announced the appointment of Stephen N. Becker as executive vice president of sales and marketing. Becker brings nearly 20 years experience driving new business initiatives for cable television service and digital media solutions providers, including N2 Broadband, Cox Communications and Qwest Digital Media.
Becker most recently served as executive vice president of marketing and business development for N2 Broadband, a provider of video-on-demand solutions. There, Becker directed strategic product, partner and distribution relationships, and marketing and media relations strategies leading up to the company's recent acquisition by Tandberg Television. Becker also served as executive vice president of sales and business development managing substantial revenue growth and diversification of the company's customer base.
Previously, Becker spent twelve years in a variety of business development and operational roles at Cox Enterprises, the sixth largest media company in the United States. During his tenure, Becker founded Cox Communications' commercial services unit, Cox Business Services; was responsible for Cox's investment in @Home Corp; and ran field operations for Cox Interactive Media while it was the largest provider of local content on the Internet.
