PARIS, January 25/PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- At the occasion of the 3GSM World Congress in Cannes, France,
Alcatel (Paris: CGEP.PA and NYSE: ALA) will host a press conference at the
Noga Hilton hotel(1). During this conference, Philippe Germond, President and
chief operating officer of Alcatel and Marc Rouanne, chief operating officer
of Alcatel's mobile communication activities will present Alcatel's strategy
and perspectives on the mobile sector. A Q&A session will follow the
presentation.
