POW! Entertainment and Celebrities In Action Join Forces to Produce Animation Projects for Direct-To-DVD

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Stan Lee and his company, POW! Entertainment, Inc. (Pink Sheets: POWN) will join forces with Celebrities In Action, Inc. ("CIA") in a joint venture to co-produce and co-develop an animated series. The parties have agreed to negotiate a multi-faceted development, production, and distribution joint venture to produce animated programming and merchandise based on the premise of well-known celebrities in competition against characters from other worlds.

The project is to include animated direct-to-DVD's, feature films, video games, apparel and publishing, as well as other consumer products.

Stan Medley and Chris Nassif of CIA will head business development and talent management along with Lara Bloom who will handle celebrity relations.

POW and CIA are scheduled to commence production in early spring 2005.
