M5T Releases Secure SIP Software Compatible with Microsoft Live Communications Server

M5T's flexible SIP-based software to provide faster time-to-market to developers of IP communications applications

With the launch of its new M5T SIP User-Agent SAFE, M5T provides developers of SIP-based IP communications applications with a flexible and scalable software solution. With the M5T SIP UA SAFE developers can significantly reduce their development time and shorten the time-to-market for new products and applications such as IP phones, mobile handsets, Wi-Fi phones, soft phones, PDAs and gateways.

The new M5T SIP-UA SAFE also embeds a full set of advanced security features including TLS, SRTP, session description negotiation (SDP), and Kerberos. M5T integrates Kerberos authentication in such a flexible way that it makes M5T SIP-UA SAFE compatible with Microsoft Live Communications Server 2003, therefore allowing SIP-based application developers to design and deploy instant messaging and presence applications. Microsoft Live Communications Server 2003 uses SIP for Instant Messaging and Presence.
