Korn/Ferry Names Richard Spitz Head of Global Technology Market

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Korn/Ferry International (NYSE:KFY), the premier provider of executive search and leadership development solutions, announced today that Richard Spitz has been chosen to lead the Global Technology Market, effective immediately. Mr. Spitz will be co-located in Korn/Ferry's Los Angeles and Silicon Valley offices, and will report to Paul C. Reilly, chairman and CEO.

Mr. Spitz has served as the Regional Market Leader for the Technology Market in North America, as well as Global Sector Leader for Software and Emerging Technologies, since 2001. In his new role, he will oversee the firm's global sector practices in software, emerging technologies, electronic systems, hardware, communications, convergence, and information technology services, as well as professional services.

Mr. Spitz has handled dozens of high-profile searches for senior executives on behalf of public corporations, as well as leading pre-IPO, emerging technology companies. Mr. Spitz joined Korn/Ferry in 1996 from the international law firm of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker. His law practice extended across the technology and investment industries.

Mr. Spitz graduated from California State University, Northridge, receiving a B.S. in business administration. He was awarded a Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School and a Master's in Law from New York University Law School.
